Welcome to Indochina Adventure! Affordable cycling trips to Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos. Founded in 1999 by Mr. Hun Socheat, Indochina Adventures, aims to provide life time cycling holiday with real life experience to enjoy Thailand and Indochina at its most authentic.
We are a local travel company who actively participate in country development and help our community as we strongly believe that local people are the people who should get the most income from tourism. We recommend tourists to sleep in home stay, eating delicious local food such as Amok, support floating school at Tonle Sap lake by providing school kits. We strongly believe that poor schoolchildren with better education will have better future. In addition, we support some of the NGOs to help the kids with HIV/AIDS, we also support the Trailblazer Foundation www.thetrailblazerfoundation.org to provide water filter for the poor families. Indochina Adventure believes in a sustainable tourism. We promote cycling for 3 reasons. First, cycling is the best way to explore Indochina & Thailand. It is a great experience to cycle from Bangkok to Saigon along the big tree lines road around Angkor complex to the Mekong Delta. Secondly, for good health and we try to reduce gasoline consuming as much as possible. We estimate that we can rent our mountain bike around 1,440 bicycles/day per year. By doing this, we can save gasoline consuming at least 7,200 liters per year. We try our best to fight also against global warming issue.
Starting his first career with the United Nations Transitional Authority in Cambodia since 1993, Mr. Hun Socheat, the founder had worked with also the European Union from 1996 to 1999 in rural developement. He has learnt that giving back to our community is a part of our responsible tourism. Money is not always important but participation is. By encouraging tourists to involve in community activities wherever they cycle to. Each participation will help to develop the community.
In 2005, Socheat has also traveled to Laos to provide training on the issues Cambodian NGOs were facing. Sponsored by American Friends Service in Cambodia (AFSC), we exchanged our experiences with Laos.

Traveling with Indochina Adventures is more than a holiday. We design the trips where cycling is a mean of learning and also understanding not just visiting the local attractions and their culture, history in Thailand and Indochina.
Our trip are fully supported and guided tours. We focus on quality of services and make sure , our customers has learnt something from point to point where they cycle. To experience rural at its most authentic home-stay and enjoy local food. There are many fresh local fruits from Thailand to Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos. You will taste different kinds during snack & water stop.
We have donated computers to the monks in pagodas to help teaching children with HIV/AIDS, donated bicycle to the poor children in order to encourage the children to go to school. Some of the school children were about to abandon their study after finishing their primary school because the junior high school is located far from their houses. With our mountain bike 21 speeds, they can go to school located about 8 km from their home.

We will extend our development projects into Thailand, Vietnam and Laos.
